weMove (“We”, “us”) respects the privacy rights of our users and is committed to protecting the information collected through our online products, services, and websites (any or all of which are referred to as “Services’’). Who can use “weMove”
We want our Services to be as open and inclusive as possible, but we also want it to be safe, secure and in accordance with the law. So, we need you to commit to a few restrictions in order to use our Services.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are aged 16 or under, your parent/guardian is the only person allowed to provide your personal information to our site. Users below 16 cannot use our Services unless their parent or guardian does so and provide us with your personal information.
You must not be prohibited from receiving any aspect of our Service under applicable laws or engaging in payments-related Services if you are on an applicable denied party listing.

Profile Data: includes your username and password, purchase history of our Services, your interests, preferences, sports/arts schools/institutions attended, country/region/town of practice, type of dance/music used, feedback and survey responses, connection to other users.
Usage Data: includes details of your use of any of our Services or your visits to any of Our Sites including, but not limited to, time, frequency, duration of usage, IP address, sessions you viewed or searched for; page response times, information about feedbacks given by experts, comments entered, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and any email or phone number used to contact us, traffic data and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.
Marketing and Communications Data: includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.
We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data could be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data will not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific Service feature. We do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

We may use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring website usage in order to help us develop the website and our services and may provide such aggregate information to weMove team. These statistics will not include information that can be used to identify any individual.

Personal data is kept as long as individual is registered or otherwise removed and deleted after receiving a request to [email protected]. We take our responsibilities under data protection laws extremely seriously, including meeting these conditions. To use your personal data, we will rely on the following conditions, depending on the activities we are carrying out:

Compliance with legal obligations. As an entity incorporated under the laws of England and Wales, weMove is obliged to comply with UK laws and guidance provided by UK regulatory bodies. In particular, we may need to process your personal information to verify your identity, and to establish whether you have been barred from using our site due to objectionable behaviour. You will not be able to object to processing or ask for the deletion of your personal information insofar as it falls under this category.
Our use of cookies and other information gathering technologies

We use cookies (and/or other tracking technologies) to distinguish you from other users and to remember your preferences. We use temporary session cookies to store the user's identifier, email, name and profile picture, and session access token while the user is signed in. The cookies are deleted once the user closes the session (sign out).

How long we keep your information for
Personal data is kept as long as individual is registered or otherwise removed and deleted after receiving a request. The data will be stored for the maximum duration of 5 years, although some of your data will be deleted in shorter timescales, where possible.
Disclosure of your information
weMove may share your personal information with our team and research members of our group (which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries). We will only share your personal information with other members of the group for marketing purposes where you have expressly opted-in/consented to the disclosure of your personal data for these purposes. We will only disclose your information:
in the event that we consider selling or buying any business or assets or merge or enter into a joint venture with another business entity in which case we will disclose your personal data to any prospective sellers or buyers of such business or assets;
in the event of any insolvency situation (e.g. the administration or liquidation) of weMove or any of its group;
if we, or substantially all of our assets, are acquired by weMove, in which case personal data held by us about our users will be one of the transferred assets;

Updating your details

Transfer outside the UK
Owing to the global nature of the internet infrastructure and the associated security issues, the information you provide may be transferred in transit to countries outside the United Kingdom that do not have similar protections in place regarding your data and its use as set out in this policy. However, please note that we have taken the steps to try to improve the security of your information and we will do our best to protect your personal data, although we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
Currently weMove secure servers are located within the UK, should we propose to move the servers to outside the UK we will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure adequate protections are in place and that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Your Rights
You have a number of rights under data protection law in relation to the way weMove process your personal data, although these are not absolute and, in some instances, weMove may be unable to accept your request, in which case we will respond to you to explain why. Glossary
